  Absolutely the best place in Old Montreal, we were there during the celebration for Montreal's 375th birthday, and it was also Dany Pouliot's 43rd birthday and it was May 24 weekend. They had a handful of bands that were taking turns on stage, and we went on a night that happened to have no cover and a free beer ticket at modnight for all the celebrations. The owner got on stage, thanked all the patrons for their time spent there, introduces his daughter for a few words and then balloons and confetti fell from the sky. It was epic. I had the time of my life there and would definitely recommend this place to everyone passing through Montreal. First class all the way. They were singing classic songs that got the crowd going and everyone was singing. We left there near closing time, and went over to La Maison V.I.P for some super bon food. Thanks Montréal, you are very special to me

  Really awesome atmosphere. The entertainment is very francophone, so either know the language well or get used to being a little confused. The crowd is super friendly and the staff are, as usual for Montreal, bilingual, so it's really not a big deal to be confused and anglophone.
