  Here we found the BEST croissant in all of Montreal- I know thats a big statement, especially coming from a Polish bakery in a French influenced city- but try it for yourself and you'll see!
  Their specialty seems to be eastern European treats, I go every weekend and try something different. Everything is made by hand very carefully by the proprietors hard working wife- and she does a flawless job.

  They are actually not from Poland, but from ex-Yugoslavia, namely Bosnia.
  The food in Bosnia was a mix of eastern European and Middle-eastern flavors.
  
  I would recommend "Burek" (a cheese pie), "Cevapcici" (a small sausage like grilled ground meat pieces), and "Baklava" (for which I claim is the very best in Montreal).

  I went with a friend from Bosnia and Herzegovina because I love Balkan food. I was not disappointed: the Burek is delicious and the cevapcic are very similar to the ones I had in Sarajevo. Gordana and her husband are very nice, and can prepare delicious cakes, croissants and home made food. I totally recommend this place to have a real taste of Balkan food and Balkan products.
